Over many years now I have had a proud association with leading global pencil manufacturers, Derwent. I have been involved in artist surveys and new product testing (e.g. Watercolour, Coloursoft and Tinted Charcoal pencils) and been commissioned to provide illustrations for their product catalogue and user tips for their website. I am particularly proud of the fact that my picture of the Grand Canal in Venice adorns the tins of the Watercolour range of coloured pencils which are sold worldwide. Ten years ago when on holiday in the Lake District I was delighted to be given a guided tour of their factory in Workington and to see for myself the amazing process involved in the manufacture of coloured pencils.
I have just been invited to become a Derwent Artist Ambassador which further cements this relationship and will involve me in future new product testing and contributing advice and articles/blogs for publication on the Derwent website for the benefit of other pencil artists.

Limited Edition Price Increases
Regular visitors to my website will notice that the prices
for my limited edition prints have increased. Since this website
was first established over 10 years ago, my prices have remained
static. However, during this time there have been significant
price increases from my printer and mount maker as well as postal
rates from Post Office Limited. Consequently, I'm afraid that
the old prices are unsustainable. This is regrettable but it
now puts the prices on this website on a par with those at which
my prints sell in gallery outlets. However, the cost of packing
and postage by Royal Mail Special Delivery is still included
in the new prices.
